Goal: to consistently lead the people before the throne of God that they they might commune with home.
Maintains strong relationship with the lord: Anyone aspiring to be an effective worship leader must have as their main anchor point maintaining a relationship with the object of their worship, the almighty God.
Have a Humble Servant Attitude: we can be servants in different ways, like obeying our lord and serve the church with our positivities.
Have a Leviticus heart: we need to decide that if God never uses us in any "big" way that we will be His. We are to be to the praise of his glory, regardless of circumstances or situations. No restrictions, no hidden clauses. We are His.
Live a life of worship: the life of worship must permeate everything we do and say. If we don't live out a lifestyle of praise and worship, we can't fully enter into the worship as God desires us to.
Thankfulness Unto God: A heart that is daily full of thanksgiving to the Lord will be much more effective in leading worship.
Walking in God's Grace: we can find a power that will make an ongoing difference within out lives and in our walk with the lord.
Self-discipline
Music: be open to the various ways that music can be used. God knows no bounds and his creativity is limitless. We should be sensitive and creative with our music in order to enhance what God wants to do. Don't blander is easy our music or we will miss at least part of the purpose of the Lord for us and our ministries.
