    In this video, Bob mainly talked about his perspective about freedom in worship. He thinks we are free in worship, because the ultimate goal is to glorify our God. Although we should not feel pressure on our shoulder and be stressed about it. The process is to connect and serve, which in the end is to help ourselves and those who are connected with us to get closer to the spirit. So instead of have it as a duty, it can also be a hobbit that we love and enjoy freely.

    I like Bob's idea, because I used to be so stressed in wondering what others would think. What Bob proposed here is inspiring, because it eases you up from the fear you have on stage. Also it is a more comfortable approach to worship, because you get to feel it for yourself, instead being fearful. God wants us to be free, so we should worship with free mind and with a freed mind set.

Worship Matters 28-32

    In this section, Bob starts to show readers how to balance out relationship with others in the team, with the congregation and the Holy Spirit. He talked about how to prepare a service with combing the team's strength and utilize its advantages. He also made few examples about how to communicate with others in and outside of the team to get effective feedback in order to improve the service. He explains that it might be difficult have a smooth relationship with everybody, but if we manage well, everyone can get closer to the Lord.

    This section answered lots of questions I had when communicating with others. It's hard to approach to the student body and get feedback about service. Because sometimes they would only tell you what's good. To prevent that, Bob gave me a great answer to how to start a conversation relating to worship service and how to apply those feedback.

Worship Matters 27

In this chapter, Bob dived into the topic of how worship centers around the church events. He mainly explain that showing up on Sunday in church is a physical presentation. To really get into what God desired us to do is to have the worship attitude everyday. Because, showing up in church only means that we contributed our time and focus our mind to the Lord for that morning. To really demonstrate our faithfulness is to be on the mind of worship in our daily life.

I think Bob showed us a deeper meaning of worship. As it's not just a simple gathering, but a mind state as we all devote ourselves into praising the Lord. I know it would be difficult to have a focus on God all the time. But if we can manage to pull it off, the result will not only be an awarding life experience, but a better relationship with the Lord.

Worship Matters 25-26

    Bob now shift the focus to the skill aspect of worship. He proposed that it is essential for us to find balance between our musical skill and the principles of worship. Neither should we be lazy about practicing, nor should we narrow down on the instruments and forget about the Holy Spirit. Moving on, Bob also introduced the concept of authentic manner of worship. We should treat everyone with the same amount of compassion, as all are created by him and made equal.

    I think it is critical that Bob talk about the skill of worship. I used to struggle a lot on the music and   totally put God off my mind. Because of that, I wasn't able to enjoy worship. Soon, I was inspired by other worship performers and I realized the importance of reaching the balance of worship.

Worship Matters 23-24

    In this section, Bob shifts the attention from internal worship attitude to external experience. He mainly talked about planned and spontaneous worship. In detailed explanation, I was able to learn about Bob's idea of corresponding during a worship service. Since it's normal to make mistakes, we should adapt ourselves to correct and fix them on the spot. However, we should not struggle between failures, because as God's creation, we are allowed to be imperfect. So we should be more focused on the spiritual connection rather than our own performance.

   Through my worship experience, I found spontaneous worship can produce our very own personal moments to contact with the Holy Spirit. In my church, we can sometimes repeat a whole section with improvised words coming out from singers mouth to praise the Lord. I found it work really well with the crowds, because during that time, music turns into a bridge that connects us and the Lord. Although sometimes the band might overplay, but if we pay attention and do it at the right moment, it can make the worship experience better than ever.

Worship Matters 21-22

    In these two chapters, Bob started to illustrate to readers more about how to form a mutual balanced healthy relationship with God and how to apply it during and outside worship. First, he stressed about how we should form our strong faith and internalize our trust and love for God from the bottom of our hearts, which is being called as the internal way of worship. Then as the external, it can be demonstrated in various ways that can be unique to ourselves, as long as it means something between you and the Lord. Once we reach the balanced state, we can extend it into horizontal and vertical worship. In other sense, we need to understand God's words and be thankful for his work. Meanwhile, to reach the goal of a worship service is to connect others through glorifying God's glory.

    I think the way Bob separate these ideas into different directions is very cool. Because it made me feel easier to figure out the steps to prepare for worship. Not just music, but to reach the best mind set as possible. Of all the powerful things and miracles I've seen, people had always been faithful and crave for God in their lives. So, I believe the way Bob analyses the mindset of worship is definitely helpful when we try to bring the presence of the Lord to everyone.

Worship Matters 19-20

    In this section Bob talks about the connection between God and us, as well as identifying God’s unique qualities. To address the importance as God’s followers, we need to remain a healthy relationship with the Lord and communicate through worship. We also should help those who are in need with words of the wise one. During worship, we should ask his glory to help everyone in the congregation to have a better connection. So as worship leaders, our duty is to help everyone to feel God.

    I like Bob’s analysis on God’s quality. He really points out the points that can actually help you understand God. I think we should all apply these principles into our knowledge of God and help others to connect with the Lord.
