Quality Worship Leading

     To me quality worship leading is about creating the atmosphere that can bring people together as a community with the common will of praising the Lord. Generally people sometimes would care more about song choices and styles. But the reason and goal for worship is to unit people as a whole to praise God for he is good and full of love. Therefore, it is more important to focus on the community rather than music itself. Of course, we still need to know what people like about music, so we can satisfy them with their needs and to combine the community with strong satisfaction.

     The video shows how Vertical Church Band had their quality worship leading. They separated themselves into the crowds, which helped each individual to feel closer to the music and God. The tempo and arrangement of the song also helped creating the atmosphere. The increasing emotion of the singer Meredith Andrews allowed followers who were singing to get into their emotions too. The performance was strong but not self centered, which crowds could respond with the music.
